Return Policy

* Please Note: Purchases made in our Marietta, GA store and not on-line are subject to our standard in store return policy printed on your receipt.

At David Douglas Diamonds & Jewelry we offer a 14 day full refund and 30 day exchange from the date of delivery on any online purchase.

Please note that returned items must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Due to their personalized nature, the following orders are nonreturnable:

  • Modified or customized items
  • Engraved items
  • Rings that have been sized at the customers request
  • Items that have previously been exchanged
  • Custom designed jewelry

We do our best to let you know before your purchase when an item is non-returnable. However it is your responsibility to confirm an item is eligible for return before placing your order. Please call or text us at 770-578-0598 if you have any questions regarding return approval.

We recommend presenting a new piece of jewelry to the recipient before making size adjustment requests. We are happy to schedule a same-day sizing at no charge for a new pieces of jewelry at which time we can determine an accurate size of the wearer.

Be sure to include the original diamond certificate for any diamond purchase. A fee of $75 will be applied for any diamond returned without the original certificate.

We recommend adding an insurance value to your return package as well as "Adult Signature Required" for proof of receipt. 

For security reasons do not put any jewelry terminology on your return label. Examples include "Diamonds", "Jewelry", etc. Please be considerate to theft when shipping jewelry.

Refund Process

After we receive the returned order our Quality Assurance department will inspect and verify the condition of the item and accompanying documentation. Returns can take up to seven business days to process upon receipt of the item. Refunds will be issued via the method of payment used in the original purchase, or by check if the original payment requires special processing.

A store credit can be issued in the full amount which never expires and may be used towards merchandise, repairs, and custom design.
