Cleaning & Inspection

Have your jewelry professionally cleaned for free! Our jewelers will inspect your items and ensure they are in adequate condition for everyday wear.

Price Range: There is no charge to clean and inspect your jewelry. Polishing your jewelry by hand starts at $45. Polishing and rhodium plating your jewelry starts at $95.

Jewelry Repair

If you have jewelry that is in need of repair, our on-site jeweler provides all phases of jewelry repair. Our main focus is quality and customer satisfaction.

Jewelry Appraisals

At David Douglas Diamonds & Jewelry we create jewelry appraisals specifically for insurance purposes.

Official appraisals are completed in-house by our GIA trained gemologists. The appraisal certifies the authenticity and integrity of your jewelry and provides color photographs and detailed information about the type, quality and replacement value of specific components of your jewelry.

Price Range: $125 for the first item, $95 for additional

Ear Piercing

Piercing your ears is a big decision, and we’re happy you chose us. Choose from 12 in-stock styles that are pre-packaged and pre-sterilized – we don't use needles. You’ll receive a bottle of ear care antiseptic as we recommend daily cleaning for the first six weeks. After six weeks the piercing earrings can be removed and replaced with earrings of your choice.

Prices range from $20 to $45, plus a $25 sitting fee. The $25 sitting fee covers the preparation, piercing and includes a bottle of ear care antiseptic.

Pearl Restringing

Typically the only way to repair a strand of pearls is to completely restring them. 

Did you know that your strand of pearls should be restrung at least once every two year? Bring your pearls into David Douglas Diamonds & Jewelry – we can restring them, clean them, and make them look like new!

Price Range: $45 to $150 for a single strand of pearls.

Watch Repair

Battery Replacement
A stopped watch is only right twice a day. We can fix that! This service can typically be done while-you-wait if the jeweler is available.

Price Range: $20 to $50 per watch

Link Adjustments
We can size your watch bracelet to fit your wrist perfectly and includeds a 30-day fit adjustment at no additional cost.

Price Range: $20 to $45

Bracelet Cleaning
For this service we remove the bracelet from the watch case and soak it in our ultrasonic bath for 48 hours to remove dirt and debris.

Price Range: $50 to $75

Internal Services
This is not a service that we offer here at David Douglas Diamonds & Jewelry. We recommend Art Jewelers in Woodstock, Ga. for internal watch servicing.

Engraving

We offer multiple types of engraving services here at David Douglas Diamonds. Machine engraving and hand engraving.

Machine Engraving: This is the most common way to personalize a piece of jewelry. It's a great way to commemorate a special date on the back of a watch or include a special note on the inside of your wedding band.

Hand Engraving: This type if engraving takes very specialized skills to complete. It takes an artists eye as they're "drawing" a permanent picture onto a piece of jewelry. Typically it's compelted using hand powered graver tools or pneumatic graver tools.

Price Range: $45 for machine engraving. $150/hr for hand engraving.

Gold & Diamond Buying
